I was director for the play coz I pretty much thought about everything. We brainstormed the play the lesson after we got the assignment and I used many different ideas to clump them all up very quickly into a play. I based the play on an idea from Ziyi of being elegant and emo. then I used Semi's 5 stick men to create the Classic Five photo. It was certainly fun coz we went out to get the coffin (which was a shelf frame instead of a kitchen cabinet) and the cloth. That was during prop day. We tried to finish all the material stuff earlier so we had more time to reahearse and make it perfect. We spent at least a hundred bucks in total and 32-5 hours of time for the play. This is definitely like a miniature full-fledged production. I would say this is the second most intensive production I've done but the best in terms of my liking. It was really great leading the group as to forcing them to rehearse as it was the only way to get the play into our heads. Planning out the play was also a (pretty light) burden that I had to bear too.
